1. Description of Service
LegalJK is a SaaS (Software as a Service) platform designed for legal professionals. It provides tools for case management, client tracking, deadline monitoring, and AI-assisted legal drafting. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for your professional practice.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age and a practicing legal professional or authorized staff member to use this Service. By registering, you warrant that all information provided is accurate and that you have the authority to bind your organization to these Terms.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You shall not:
- Attempt to reverse engineer the source code.
- Use the AI to generate fraudulent documents.
- Upload malware or harmful scripts.
- Share account credentials with unauthorized users.
4. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer
LegalJK utilizes Large Language Models (LLMs) to generate drafts, summaries, and suggestions. These outputs do NOT constitute legal advice.
- AI may produce "hallucinations" or factually incorrect citations.
- You (the lawyer) are solely responsible for verifying every word generated.
- LegalJK disclaims all liability for errors resulting from reliance on AI outputs.
You retain full ownership of all case files, client data, and documents ("User Content") you upload. You grant LegalJK a permission solely to host, backup, and process this data to provide the Service to you. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your case data.
6. Payments & Subscription
Certain features are available only via paid subscription. Fees are billed in advance and are non-refundable, except where required by law. Failure to pay may result in account suspension. We reserve the right to modify pricing with 30 days' notice.
7. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access immediately if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases. You will be given a grace period of 30 days to export your data, after which it will be permanently deleted.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, LegalJK and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Bangalore, Karnataka.
